Mahishini's interest lies in co-design and regeneration process. Having come from a developing country – Sri Lanka, her passion was to bring communities together and fulfilling their need of a shelter. Her designs strive to understand the users' demands by providing a space suitable for them for a healthy and Eco-friendly living. After all, Architecture is for the people by the architects.

Mahishini is a part of Momentum Practice, which is a student-led architecture practice, that strive to fulfill the needs of the community in the form of a loop system where we take into account the voices of its future users and reflect this in the design solutions.
